Amsterdam – the latest full-length release from Kid Davis & the Bullets, was produced by James Everhart (Cosmic Guilt) and recorded by Josh Friedman at Hi5 Studios in Philadelphia in 2025.

The album is a sweeping, cinematic journey through longing, loss, rebellion, and redemption. With a poetic eye and a rock-and-roll heart, the album explores the wreckage of relationships (“Pocketful of Lies,” “Spinning Around You”), the quiet ache of nostalgia (“Last Summer”), and the surreal chaos of modern life (“All Hands on Deck,” “Fact Is”)—all delivered with the band’s signature blend of swagger, wit, and sincerity.

Anchored by haunting ballads and hard-driving grooves, Amsterdam straddles classic rock, Americana, and rockabilly soul. Standouts like the title track tell tales of escape and self-exile, while “Boxcar” leans into darker, more unhinged territory, brimming with gritty imagery and emotional volatility. Yet throughout, there’s a through-line of resilience and humor—the sense that even at the end of the line, there’s still a song to sing.

This is the Bullets at their sharpest: world-weary but not cynical, reflective but not resigned. Amsterdam is a record for anyone who’s ever burned a bridge, chased a dream across an ocean, or danced through the wreckage of their own making—with the volume up and their heart wide open.

Who They Are

  • Philly-born, Delaware-based, Kid Davis & the Bullets have been a fixture in the Mid-Atlantic roots scene for over two decades.

  • Their music bridges the classic and the current “rockabilly for people who think they don’t like rockabilly.”

  • Influences: Galaxie 500, Buddy Holly, Richard Hawley, Nick Lowe, Lucinda Williams

  • Recent tour highlights:

    • Toured in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France in May 2025.

    • A headliner at the Breda (NL) Jazz Fest

    • Opened for Richard Thompson in April 2025

  • The band is sponsored by Stella Artois, providing album and tour support.

  • The band was recently inducted into the Delaware Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2024) and continues to push their sound in new directions without losing the stomp-and-shout spirit they’ve always had.

  • Residency: Weekly Thursday residency at Gallucio’s in Wilmington, DE

  • Radio-ready with full studio tracks, clean masters, and WAVs available

We’re currently seeking airplay consideration for tracks from Amsterdam, as well as opportunities for on-air interviews (remote or in-studio, with the band back in the U.S. this September). The band is also available for in-studio performances, either solo or full-band, and would be a great fit for spotlight segments on independent or roots rock programs.
